The Kangaroo Island community and business directory has been a valuable and much-loved resource for businesses and residents since 1991.
After working on numerous other projects with them, the Kangaroo Island Business & Brand Alliance tasked us with designing and building an online version of the previously print-only directory.
As a value-add to their membership, Alliance members can self-manage more comprehensive listings through their existing membership portal, developed by Studio Foster on the Alliance’s website.

Embolden, South Australia’s peak body for addressing domestic, family and sexual violence, engaged us to create a website that would serve as a hub for their information, including news, resources, members listings, and events. We designed the website in accordance with Embolden’s existing brand.
A few years after the website was launched, we were once again engaged to develop a member area and membership management platform that would facilitate Embolden’s management of its memberships.

Services: Web design and development, Third-party CRM integration, Website hosting
In the process of moving their operations to a new CRM, our corporate massage client Seated Massage found they needed a platform tailored specifically to the needs of their massage practitioners.
We designed and developed a dedicated secure portal for practitioners to manage their day-to-day tasks such as:
- Sharing their availability for jobs
- View details and confirm upcoming jobs
- Quickly submit invoices after a job is completed
- Keep their documentation, such as police checks and first aid certificates, up-to-date
The platform automatically tracks practitioner documentation that has expired, such as insurance certificates, prompting them to upload new ones, a task that was manually tracked and managed by the team at Seated Massage in the past.
Weekly emails are automatically sent out to practitioners with a summary of their upcoming jobs along with a list of tasks to ensure their profile and details are up-to-date.
Since its launch, practitioners have praised the Seated Massage team on how simple it is to work with them now.
All jobs details on the platform are synced with their sales CRM PipeDrive. This allows job details to flow from website booking leads, right through to invoicing without any double handling of information by the Seated Massage team.
The Seated Massage team also have their tailored dashboard on the platform, giving them an overview of all their practitioners and allowing them to filter and quickly select the right practitioner for a job.
Since launch we’ve also purpose-built a job generator tool that is synced to their sales CRM, allowing them to quickly schedule jobs for practitioners using live data from the CRM. By building this tool, we also addressed limitations they encountered with their CRM in specific scenarios.
